Things to Worry About - F. Scott Fitzgerald

Let us dream of tomorrow where we can truly love from the soul, and know love as the ultimate truth at the heart of all creation.
--Michael Jackson
Lesson learned.
The number 1 lesson I’ve learned this year, is to manage my expectations of others. Especially of those you hold dear to your heart. Ultimately no one is owed nothing in this world. Even if all you expect are fundamentals values such as honesty, loyalty, respect etc. but this in itself is hard because we all want to think the best of others, that will be treated with a common decency. So be aware of the faith you put on others, because people will surprise you and if that faith is broken, it can be truly hard to recover from. But it is what it is & all we can do is accept it and try to deal with it as best as possible.
We are born alone and you will die alone. So I think to know ones true self key, being assured of yourself will definitely help, but won’t change that feeling of belonging, to something/someone, that deep down we all would like. And ain’t nothing wrong with that.
And now on to 2013. A new year. A fresh start, with good things to come! This Minds of the Frey thing will all make sense soon. See you on the other side.
God bless.
- Godfrey.

“and this is everybody’s struggle – how do you keep your innocence alive? How do you keep your sense of romance alive, your sense of joy alive? But match it with realism, to get rid of all the fake naivety. To see the world for what it is. It’s a very difficult aspect of life. What do you do?”
- Ethan Hawke
To higher and higher platitudes.
--Richard J. Daley
The art of living does not consist in preserving and clinging to a particular mode of happiness, but in allowing happiness to change its form without being disappointed by the change; happiness, like a child, must be allowed to grow up.
--Charles Morgan
What’s your life about? Enlighten me Is you gon’ live on your knees or die on your feet?

“I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.”
- Edgar Allan Poe
“For every moment of triumph, for every instance of beauty, many souls must be trampled.”
- Hunter S. Thompson
“I’m not in this world to live up to your expectations and you’re not in this world to live up to mine.”
